Clarity Property Investments measures every UK place a buy-to-let investor might consider, from public data, and shows its working.
What we do
We rank 977 UK towns, London boroughs and Scottish council areas on sold prices, rents, growth, crime, flood risk and housing delivery, all measured from named public sources and rebuilt every month. The investment map is free. The detailed location reports are £39 each, or £249 for all of them for a year, and that is how we are paid today.
Most property investment websites start with the property and find reasons to like the area. We start with the area, because it decides most of what a property will earn, and we publish the figures that count against a place as well as the ones in its favour.
Selling new homes, on the same terms
We intend to sell new homes for developers, as their agent. We will not do so until we are registered with HMRC for anti-money-laundering supervision and are members of a property redress scheme, both of which the law requires first.
A developer paying us cannot move a place up the map. The ranking is not allowed to read any commercial information, an automated test enforces that on every change, and every business that pays us is named on our commercial relationships page.
